Why is my campaign getting no clips?

The five reasons a campaign underperforms, how to tell which one it is, and the fix for each.

Why is my campaign getting no clips?

Good news first: all five are fixable, most of them in an afternoon.

A quiet campaign almost always has one of five causes, a generic brief, a rate that does not match the platforms, source material that never changes, a slow review queue, or budget pulled at the first quiet week, and each has a fix you can apply today. The one thing that is never the fix is rewriting the brief inside the live campaign.

The five causes

Cause

How to tell , and fix

A brief that is too generic

It describes the product and asks creators to be authentic. Most scroll past, and the ones who submit send work you cannot use.

A hook formula, two or three reference clips, and the one constraint that matters. See Write a brief creators will follow.

A rate that does not match the platform mix

Submissions are quiet on a platform where similar campaigns are busy. A rate set to an internal budget rather than the market looks like a supply problem and is not.

First check a creator can reach the campaign at all: it is live, public or with its applications approved, and Show on Discover is on. Then check comparable campaigns on Discover and raise the rate if week one is still quiet. A higher rate does not fix a campaign nobody can see.

Source material that does not rotate

Views were fine and then fell off, and the clips all open the same way.

Add new material every two to three weeks, and after every new stream, episode or launch: the teams behind the most active campaigns post a "new footage added" note to their creators about that often, and tell them to use the new material first. It is the cheapest way to extend a campaign.

A slow review queue

Pending clips sit for days. Creators stop submitting when the loop is slow.

Clear Pending daily through the first 30 days, and put your attention on the high bot likelihood cards. See Review submissions.

Budget pulled at the first sign of weakness

The campaign was paused or ended in its first two weeks.

Views compound, so week one always looks worse than the campaign will. Give it two weeks before judging, then use the signals in Fund your account.

The review queue, where a slow loop shows first

If your campaign is quiet and none of these fit, open Help & Support (the chat bubble in the corner of this page and of the app) and we'll look at it with you.
