Link the TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or X account you post from, so your clips can be submitted and paid.
This is the first thing to do here, and it only takes a moment. A clip can only be submitted from an account that's connected and verified here, in Content Rewards. Accounts linked in Whop don't count. For TikTok and Instagram you prove the account is yours with a short code in your bio; for YouTube and X you sign in on the platform and approve the connection. We never post for you.
Before you start
Have the social app open in another tab to edit your bio.
Use the exact handle of the account you post from.
Steps
1. Open Settings, then the Connected accounts tab. An account marked Pending is one whose code check has not passed yet.
2. Press Connect account and choose the platform you post from. TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and X are listed.
3. For TikTok and Instagram, type your handle without the @ and press Continue; you can change the handle on the next screen. For YouTube and X there is no handle to type: press Connect YouTube or Connect X, a window opens on the platform, sign in, pick the channel or account you post from and approve, then come back here and skip to step 5.
4. TikTok and Instagram only: copy the code, paste it into your bio, save your profile, then press Verify account. The code looks like CR-ABC123; we read your public bio and look for it, a check takes about 30 seconds, and if the first one comes up empty we check again on our own.
Here is the code sitting in an Instagram bio, exactly as our check sees it when it opens the profile.
5. Wait for "Account verified" (for YouTube and X it reads "Connected"). The account now lists without the Pending mark, and if you used a code you can take it out of your bio.
What happens next
From then on, every clip you submit must come from the handle you verified. That check stops someone else claiming your clip's payout.
A code is valid for 24 hours. After that, press Verify next to the account to get a fresh one.
If it does not work
Submitting fails on "Posted from one of your linked accounts". Linked means verified. Open Connected accounts: if the account still says Pending, finish step 4. If it's verified, compare its handle with the account that posted the clip. They must be the same account. Accounts linked in Whop aren't listed here and don't count.
If the code is not found after you saved your bio: Platforms can take a minute to publish a bio change, so wait and press Verify account again. Still nothing: open your profile in a private window and check the code is public. A code older than 24 hours has expired, so get a new one. If you connected YouTube or X, the sign-in finished and the account still shows as not linked, check you picked the channel or account you actually post from and complete any Reconnect prompt shown; if it keeps failing, send us the platform, the handle and the exact error.
That's it. Once an account shows as verified, you're ready to find a campaign and post.
