Posted your clip? Good, now let's get it in front of the campaign's team.
A submission ties one published post to one campaign: you post on a connected account first, then paste the link within 30 minutes of posting, and we fetch the video, the caption and the view count ourselves. The one campaign type that works the other way round is a pre-approval campaign, where you upload a draft for the team to approve before you post at all; that is covered at the end.
Before you start
The account you posted from has to be connected and verified here, in Content Rewards, and an account linked inside Whop's own settings does not count for that. The post has to be public, and it has to be less than 30 minutes old when you submit it, because views are counted from the moment we start watching. If either of those is not true yet, Connect your social accounts comes first.
Steps
Open the campaign and press Submit clip.
Paste the link to your post into Submit video link. A short link from the platform's Share button works too.
Tick I've read the requirements and accept that non-compliant submissions may be auto-rejected, then press Submit clip.
To get the link, open the post on the platform and use its Share button; on Instagram, Copy link sits at the bottom of the share menu.
Posting several clips to the same campaign? Paste every link into the same box, one per line, and each one is checked on its own. Any that fail stay in the box with their reason so you can fix them and submit again; the ones that passed are already in.
The three checks
The dialog lists three checks under the link box, and every submission has to pass all three. They turn red when you press Submit clip if one fails, and the message tells you which.
The three checks
Check | What it means , and why it fails |
Posted from one of your linked accounts | The post belongs to an account that is connected and verified in your Content Rewards settings.
The account is not connected here yet, or it is connected under a different Content Rewards account. See Your account shows as not linked. |
Not already submitted to this campaign | Each post can go into a campaign once.
You, or someone else, already submitted this post to this campaign. Post a new clip and submit that. |
Posted within the last 30 minutes | The post is fresh enough for us to count its views from the start.
The post is older than 30 minutes. Post a fresh upload and submit it straight away; a clip refused here is never recorded, so there is no penalty. |
What happens next
The clip appears on your Submissions page under Pending while we fetch its data and until the campaign's team reviews it; nothing is approved on its own. On a CPM campaign the clip starts earning as soon as it passes the campaign's minimum views, before the team has decided, and that money is set aside for you, so a slow review does not lose you anything. What each status means and what a decision does to the money is in Approval and review.
Pre-approval campaigns
Some campaigns ask to see a draft before anything is posted. On those, Submit clip takes a video file instead of a link: upload the draft, choose which of your connected accounts you would post it on, and the team approves it, rejects it or asks for changes, in which case you upload a revised version and every version is kept. Once a draft is approved, post the video from one of the accounts the team approved on that draft, then submit the live link exactly as above; the posted clip is reviewed again, and it has to have come from an approved account. Your drafts live under Drafts, sorted into Needs changes, Pending, Approved, Posted and Rejected.
If something looks wrong
If the submission is not in your list at all, it never went through: submit the post again and watch which of the three checks turns red. If you submitted a post to the wrong campaign, ask that campaign's team in its support chat to reject it; until they do, the "not already submitted" check treats the post as belonging to that campaign, and the moment it is rejected there you can submit the same post to the right one. If a clip you submitted before the new version of Content Rewards is missing, What happened to your previous-version submissions and payouts covers where it went.
That's all there is to it: your clip is in the campaign's queue, and Approval and review takes it from here.
