The terms
Term | Meaning |
Appeal | A creator's one-time challenge to a flag, made through Help & Support (the chat bubble in the corner of this page and of the app) and decided by our team. |
Application campaign | A campaign where the brand approves creators before they can submit. |
Arriving | On the Earnings page: a payout whose amount is final and is inside its hold, shown as Processing with the expected date. |
Ban | A brand can remove a creator from all of its campaigns, and lift it later. Our team can ban an account from the whole platform. |
Bot score | A 0 to 100 reading of how real a clip's engagement looks. Higher is worse. It never rejects a clip by itself. |
Brief | The campaign's written requirements. Rejections have to rest on it. |
Budget | The money a brand puts into a campaign. Payouts and the platform fee both draw from it. |
Connected account | A social account verified in Content Rewards with a code in its bio. Only connected accounts can submit. |
Content Rewards Balance | Where your earnings land once a payout is Received, and what you withdraw from. |
CPM | Cost per 1,000 views. The brand sets a rate and the clip earns as views come in. |
Creator fee | What comes off a creator's payout when it settles: a flat 10%, or nothing on per post and retainer campaigns with a budget of $5,000 or more. |
Discover | Where creators browse campaigns. |
Draft | A clip uploaded for the brand to approve before it's posted, on campaigns that ask for it. |
Flag | A hold on a payout while a person checks it. Automatic from a high bot score or a post that went offline, or raised by the brand. |
Hold | The 3 days a CPM payout waits after its earning window, before it settles. |
Maximum payout | The most one clip can earn on a campaign, set by the brand. |
Minimum payout | The amount a clip must earn before it's paid at all, set by the brand. |
Monitoring period | Also called the tracking window. How many days a clip's views are tracked from submission: 7, unless the campaign page shows a different length. |
Organization | A brand or agency account. Agencies run one organization per client and switch between them. |
Per post | A flat amount per approved clip that reaches the minimum views. |
Platform fee | What the brand pays us, inside the budget. 10% of each payout by default, 8% for verified organizations. |
Pre-approval | A campaign setting that asks creators for a draft before they post. Approving the draft isn't the payout; the posted clip is reviewed again. |
Private campaign | A campaign that only invited creators can see. The brand invites by email or Whop username. |
Queued | On the Earnings page: a payout that's still earning, so the amount can change. |
Received | On the Earnings page: paid into your Content Rewards Balance. |
Refund | A brand's request to get unspent budget back, made once every pending clip is approved or rejected. It pauses the campaign at once, and our team reviews it. |
Retainer | A set amount per cycle for agreed deliverables. |
Reversal | A payout taken back before it settled, after an upheld flag, a rejection, a ban, or a per post clip that misses its minimum views. Settled payouts aren't reversed, though confirmed fraud can be offset against a Content Rewards Balance. |
Submission | One clip tied to one campaign. |
Whop Balance | Where withdrawals go. From there you move the money wherever you like: a bank, PayPal or a wallet. |
