What happened to your previous-version submissions and payouts
What happened to your previous-version submissions and payouts
A lot moved when the new version launched, so here's what came with you and what didn't.
Your account and your approved earnings carried over, and campaigns from the previous version keep running on the terms they launched with. Connected social accounts did not carry over: you re-link each one inside the new app, and you have until 15 October 2026 to do it.
What carried over
What | How it looks now |
Your account | Same login, same username, same history. |
Approved earnings | Every approved clip and its payout, paid or still settling. |
Campaigns from the previous version | Still running, on the terms they launched with, including their original creator fee, which is why a payout row on one of them can show 7 percent where new campaigns show 10. |
What you need to do again
Connected social accounts are re-linked inside the new app, and each one is verified again with a code in your bio: open Settings, then Connected accounts, press Connect account, choose the platform and enter the handle, put the code in your bio, and press Verify account. Do this before 15 October 2026; after that date an account that was not re-linked cannot be used to submit. Connect your social accounts has the full walkthrough.
Where a previous submission is now
Its state when the change happened | Where it is |
Approved and paid | On your Submissions page with its payout on the clip. |
Approved and paid, but the payout shows without its clip | The money is real and it was paid; the clip record did not come across with it, so the payout sits on your Earnings page with no clip to open. Nothing is owed on it and nothing needs resubmitting. |
Approved and not yet paid | Carried over and settling on its normal schedule. The expected date may have moved, the amount did not. |
Pending | Still with the campaign's team, who review it the same way as before, and clips from before the change are still being approved and rejected now. If that campaign has since ended or spent its budget, the team can still decide it but cannot pay a new approval until the brand tops up; The campaign ended, paused or ran out of budget covers that case. |
Rejected with the reason "Imported from V1" | The clip was carried across as a record and closed rather than reviewed again; nothing was paid on it before and nothing is owed on it now. |
Find a clip from the previous version
Every clip you submitted before the change is on your Submissions page, under the same status it had then and with its original date, so nothing needs re-uploading to see it. Open Submissions, pick the tab that matches the state it was in, Approved, Pending or Rejected, and use the campaign picker at the top to narrow the list to one campaign. A clip that was approved on the previous version keeps its views and its earnings on the card, and View details opens the same payout panel every other clip has.
Two things can make a clip look missing when it is not: the status tab is wrong, most often looking under Approved for a clip that was still pending when the change happened, or the campaign picker is narrowing the list to a campaign the clip was not in. Clear the picker and check all three tabs before writing in.
Reading "Paid before the upgrade" on a payout
Open View details on a clip that earned on the previous version and the payout timeline can show a row labelled Paid before the upgrade, marked Paid, with the line that the clip's earlier earnings were paid on the previous version of Content Rewards. That row is a record, not a new payment. It is there so the Total earned, Received and Pending figures at the top of the panel still add up to what the clip has made across both versions. Nothing further is owed on that row, and any earnings the same clip makes now appear as their own rows underneath it, on the new schedule.
If sign-in says your account is already linked
Your login is one email tied to one Whop account, and that pairing came across unchanged, so we never create a second account for you. If you sign in with a different email, or connect a different Whop, you are refused with a message that tells you which login to use rather than given a new, empty account.
What each message means
The message | What it means and what to do |
This Whop account is linked to xxx***@gm***.com. Log in with that email instead. | The Whop you connected already belongs to a login, and the masked address is a hint at which one. Sign out and sign in with that email; your clips and earnings are there. |
This Whop account is linked to another email. Request a new code to try a different address. | The same situation, shown when the other login's email has not been verified, so no hint can be given. Request a new sign-in code with each address you have used with Whop until one gets you in. |
This email is linked to a different Whop account | The email you are using already has a Whop attached, and it is not the one you just tried to connect. Sign in with this email and use the Whop it is already paired with. |
This Whop account is already registered to xxx***@gm***.com. Log in with that email instead. | Seen when creating an account rather than signing in: the Whop is taken, and the hint says by which email. Sign in with that email instead of registering again. |
This email already has an account with content on it. Use a different email, or contact support. | The email you are trying to attach already owns an account holding clips or earnings, so it cannot be merged automatically. Use that account, or open Help & Support and we will sort out which login should keep the content. |
If you no longer have access to the email the hint points at, open Help & Support and send us both addresses, the one you can reach and the one the message shows, and we can move the login rather than start you again.
Why a number or a date moved
Payouts that were upcoming when the change happened kept their amounts but joined the new payout schedule, so an expected date can be later than the one you saw before. If the amount itself changed, Your payout is lower than you expected lists every reason that can happen.
If a clip or campaign you had is missing
Open Help & Support (the chat bubble in the corner of this page and of the app) and send us the campaign name and the clip link, and we will tell you where it is. Private and application-only campaigns are the ones most likely to be affected.
That's everything that carried over. If a clip is missing, check the three tabs first; if it is still missing after that, the last section says what to send us.
